A Charter Member of Reagan Vanguard, indeed
When your first memory of Ronald Reagan's presidency is that of being the target of a racist rant by a Reagan supporter, this item about the role that Supreme Court nominee John Roberts played in helping to plot that Administration's legal effort to narrow civil rights protections makes for sobering reading.

It's not enough to say "I feel sick" because I say that just about every day now, about the administration. We should be in the streets on so many separate issues, but we aren't. So I ask the question I ask every day now: how can it be?
Most people forget that Reagan was considered a raving lunatic fringe candidate in 1980. Unfortunately, we have swung so far in that direction that he looks moderate now.
If our criminal justice system swung that hard, Charles Manson would be given a speeding ticket and have his case dismissed.
